Conservatory Replacement

Brief: Kairos Construction were asked to replace an ageing PVC conservatory in Barnstaple that was too hot in summer and too cold in winter, creating a comfortable and practical space that could be enjoyed all year round.

Solution: We designed and built a completely new timber-framed structure to meet the client’s brief and current Building Regulations. Works included bespoke Iroko hardwood trusses and joinery, a new slated roof with triple-glazed skylights, full wall and ceiling insulation, plastering, electrics, plumbing and radiators, LVT flooring, internal finishes and complete decoration.

Result: The outdated conservatory has been transformed into a beautifully finished, fully insulated living space that complements the existing home and can now be comfortably used throughout the year.
